In this research, production of cordierite based glass ceramics has been studied and eventually attempts has been performed to study the effect of some parameters as pH, percentage of dispersant, composition and percentage of polymeric materials and Sintering temperature on strength and microstructure of the final products. The results demonstrate that the viscosity of slurry would be low, while 0.3wt% of Sodium Tripolyphosphate (TPP) is utilized as lubricant at PH=12. Various premix solution represent bending strength of dried samples increase and also bending strength of sintered samples reduction, as the used polymer percentage increases. Phasic and microstructural studies represent that the amount of cordierite increases due to increase of sintered temperature.
